Syneron is a leading and rapidly growing medical company involved in the design, development, and marketing of aesthetic medical devices to physicians and other practitioners worldwide. The company’s products are used for hair removal, wrinkle removal, rejuvenating the skin’s appearance, and cellulite reduction.

We are currently searching for a Collector / AR Clerk for our Finance department in our Irvine California office.
This is a great opportunity in an entry level position for a high-achiever with enthusiasm, drive, and the desire to be part of a great team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collections on the company’s different finance program: monthly rent, internal leasing, installments program;
• Invoicing of Sales;
• Maintain A/R aging reports and collect on all past due accounts
• Preparing and analyzing Account Receivables Aging report and weekly updates to management;
• Sales Order processing and invoicing of sales;
• Working with third parties collection companies;
• Respond to all customer (internal and external) customer inquiries while maintaining good customer relations and solve problems;
• Preparing and analyzing weekly sales reports for management;
• Month-end closing journal entries posting and sox reports;
• Perform all related clerical duties, such as document production, filing, record systems and faxing;
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• College or University degree in Accounting;
• Minimum 5 year accounting, account receivables and collection;
• Advanced skill levels in Excel, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook;
• Advanced skill levels in ERP systems (MFG-PRO or similar).
• Strong verbal communications skills with ability to communicate with all staff members and customers, internally and externally;
• Friendly outgoing personality;
• Team oriented, proactive and enthusiastic – able to go the extra mile.

Working Conditions:

M – F from 8:30 – 5:00. Due to the nature of Syneron’s business, incumbent is expected to be flexible to some changes in schedule to meet business needs.
*Because of the nature of Syneron’s activities and requirements, additional hours of work may be required from time to time above and beyond the regular hours, and incumbent in this position is expected to provide this time in support of his/her responsibilities.
